The Sanford Fieldhouse is a training facility used by athletes of all levels, from middle school to professional athletes. Our task was to create a set of pieces that would inspire and encourage athletes to push through the many and varied reasons that a person might find not to train.

The Sanford Fieldhouse is a training facility used by athletes of all levels, from middle school to professional athletes. Our task for the Sanford Fieldhouse Murals was to create a set of pieces that would inspire and encourage athletes as they train. The murals on the south wall illustrates the idea of perseverance, of pushing through the many and varied reasons that a person might find not to train.
We created and presented several different sets of concepts before we developed this set. We then refined this design and sent our final artwork to the firm who printed, produced and installed the pieces.
Installation
In the photos above show the installation of the mural. The first photo gives a sense of the scale of the pieces, and the second shows the custom-built frame the murals hang from, and the rolled sections of our soccer player mural. Our designs, shown below, were printed and installed by Heritage Art, Ltd.
