Ehrhardt

Ehrhardt was first released in 1937, adapted from the designs of the 17th-century Hungarian designer Miklós Kis.

The typeface Ehrhardt was first released in 1937.  It was adapted from the designs of the Hungarian typeface designer Miklós Kis (1650-1702,) who trained and worked in Amsterdam. His work was the basis for the Stempel Janson typeface, Janson Text, and Ehrhardt.
